Two-day Workshop Constructions with Cement

WHAT THE WORKSHOP INCLUDES

In this particular workshop, cement will be the construction material for a small-scale table lamp and a flat plate with the terrazzo technique. The   properties and proportions of the appropriate mixture, the treatment that the final object can receive, the terrazzo technique and the process of waterproofing the objects will be analyzed. We will analyze together the concept of development so that each participant  designs and creates  a handmade mold for his lamp and plate._cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_ Emphasizing shape, form and size,   we will design our composition of objects to adorn our space uniformly

What will you take with you when you leave?

A cement table lamp (assembled) made of gray or white cement and a plate with the terrazzo technique in shades to be chosen by each participant.

The Workshop program

Duration: 2 four-hour meetings 

Performance Dates:

1st section:6 & 7 May 2023, 11:00-15:00

2nd section:13 & 14 May 2023, 11:00-15:00

Cost:100€

What's Included: The cost includes all materials and tools that will be used during the seminar. The participants will be sent an electronic list of tools and materials as well as a list of suppliers for the Attica region. A confirmation of seminar attendance will also be sent electronically.
