Painting on clothes, bags, shoes

A workshop dedicated to techniques and styles with painting on fabric & leather to transform your favorite clothes, shoes or objects or create from scratch fabrics & materials that will take your creations to the next level

What does the Workshop include?

In this workshop we will learn painting techniques with which we can transform clothes, shoes, bags and other fabric or leather objects such as household items, pillows, curtains, etc.


What you will learn:

  • In the seminar we will present specialized paints for leather and fabric in various forms (markers, liquid paints, impregnation dyes, etc.) as well as the other tools we use.

  • Familiarization exercises with painting and illustration techniques in essays (shading, proportions, tracing, copying drawings)

  • Elements of chromatics & aesthetics. Iten's circle, complementary colors, contrasts, harmonious combinations, color psychology, color associations, etc.

  • At the same time, we will learn techniques for transferring ready-made designs and patterns to the surface we want to paint. Techniques such as silkscreen, rice paper, etc.

  • Use of various types of paint depending on the material of the object we want to paint and the final result we want to achieve.

  • Introduction to materials for creating textures and effects on the surface (embossing, coke wax, etc.)

  • Aging techniques, metallic effects and many other ideas that will fill you with inspiration


Meet Your Teacher

YANNIS BARTSOKAS

Yiannis Bartsokas is a street artist, born and lives in N. Ionia. He studied graphic design, has been painting for as long as he can remember. He makes murals, graffiti, paintings as well as painting on shoes, clothes and accessories. He collaborated with converse for the create your own service. He has taken part in exhibitions and competitions where he has been distinguished.

What is included

The cost includes all materials and tools that will be used during the seminar. TIP: Bring your favorite denim jacket or pants, or a bag and shoes that you would like to transform.

One-time payment upon booking the seat

What you will get at the end of the workshop:

Upon completing the workshop, you will take with you all the projects you have made in the course as well as a list of tools and materials as well as a list of suppliers for the Attica region and an electronic confirmation of seminar attendance will also be sent electronically to all participants.
