Silkscreen printing

A journey into the art of screen printing. In the seminar we will experiment with various surfaces and materials and specialized techniques such as polychrome, raster, CMYK shading, etc.

What does the Workshop include?

Theoretical part:

  • Introduction to the art of screen printing, tools (frames, printers, lamps, other tools) and materials (gauze, photosensitive pastes, paints, etc.).

  • Case study

Laboratory part:

  • Demonstration of frame construction and preparation (frame construction, gauze placement, application of photosensitive paste)

  • How do I prepare a design for an appearance?

  • How to make a makeshift display layout.

  • How to build a printer, printer sizing & assembly

  • Prints on fabric, paper and objects.

  • Introduction to using more colors with a multi-printer

  • Familiarity with specialized techniques such as mirroring, multicolor, raster shading.


TIP : Bring your t-shirts with you to fill them with unique prints!


At the end of the course, each participant takes home their work.

The school provides materials and tools to experiment on various printing surfaces.

8 hours - 2 four-hour meetings - Weekend 11:00-15:00

What is included

The cost includes all materials and tools that will be used during the seminar.

One-time payment upon booking

What you will get at the end of the workshop:

By completing the workshop you will have made your first finished product with special printing gauze. You will also have printed many different works on various surfaces that you will take with you at the end of the seminar. A list of tools and materials as well as a list of suppliers for the Attica region and a certificate of attendance will also be sent electronically to all participants.
