
What does the Workshop include?
A two-day workshop on the construction of small-scale copper tube lighting fixtures .
Participants learn about copper as a construction material and learn basic techniques for cutting, shaping and assembling pipes.
The seminar includes different types of soldering , using flame and special metal adhesives, as well as the basic principles of electrical connection of lighting fixtures.
Each student designs and builds their own table lamp , functional and complete.
A workshop focused on the process, material and precision of handmade construction.
The seminar includes:
Getting to know copper: material properties, types of copper pipes and fittings
Table lamp design and shape selection
Cutting, cleaning and preparation of copper pipes
Construction assembly and stabilization techniques
Different types of bonding:
flame welding
use of special adhesives for metal
Basic principles of electrical installation of a luminaire:
wiring
lamp holder, switch and connection
Surface finish (matte, natural or patinated effect)
Operation control and construction completion
No previous experience is required to participate in the workshop.
