ABOUT THE GIFT LAB

The Gift Lab is an evening dedicated to handmade gifts, to "sharing", to company.

The Askardamykti School is transformed into a common space of action, where different arts – wood, clay, leather, paper and metal – coexist simultaneously. Imagine a large group of artisans around a common meeting point: a single interactive creation bench, where the materials and techniques of the Askardamykti School become stimuli for experimentation and inspiration. Music, wine and lively discussions transform the moment into an experience that unites people through the act of making. A collective experience around the concept of the handmade gift and its sharing.

THE GIFT LAB IN DETAILS

The Gift Lab is a collective creative experience that unfolds around a single, interactive bench . A large common space filled with materials, tools, colors, textures and stimuli from the world of woodworking, leatherworking, weaving, fabric and other techniques of the Askardamykti School. There are no distinct stages or strict structure; there is a continuous flow where participants create side by side, observe, get inspired and share the act of making.

At the heart of the experience lies the creation of handmade gifts : small objects born from natural materials and the personal eye of each individual. Making a gift with your own hands becomes an act of relationship and giving. An object with texture, history and intention.

Participants work, talk, laugh and get to know each other while music and a glass of wine naturally accompany the experience.

Around the central counter you will find a bazaar with handmade items from students and collaborators of the school. Ceramics, jewelry, textiles, leather goods, small constructions and art objects compose a mosaic of creativity that reflects the breadth and energy of the Askardamykti community.

The Gift Lab is an opportunity to create, experiment, meet people and share emotions. An experience that combines the tranquility of craftsmanship with the warm atmosphere of company, where gifts are not just objects but small gestures of creation and love.
