Exhibition of Askardamykti Student Projects and Two Days of Events entitled

"Modern Craftsmen"

In Askardamyktis we know that in learning and art you participate for life and that the worker, the craftsman and the artist are simply manifestations of the same man-creator, the "modern craftsman".

More than 120 Contemporary Craftsmen , who studied at the Askardamyktis School of Arts and Techniques during the academic year 2022-2023 present their works that emerged through the educational process. A sequence of works derived from different arts with a common element of the students' commitment to the acquisition of knowledge and mastery of technical skill, which is transmuted into their creations.

Alongside the exhibition, the school is organizing a two-day event with technical demonstrations, talks and experiential workshops that will help visitors get to know the Askardamyktis team of teachers better.

Program

• Friday, June 30 at 8:00 p.m. - Opening of the Askardamykti Student Exhibition 2022-2023 - free entry
• Saturday July 1st 11:00-21:00 - Speeches and Technical Challenges - free entry
• Sunday 11:00-17:00 - Experiential Workshops - cost of participation is €15/person per workshop or €50 in total for all 4 workshops. (the exhibition remains open to the public on Sundays at no cost)

* Saturday July 1st after 21:00 the evening continues at the Egalite music stage with live music by Billie Supernatural and a relaxed drink (Egalite Music Club Averof 36 a little below Askardamykti)
